The GLAAD Awards, which honor LGBT portrayals in the media, last night named ''Melissa Etheridge: My Window'' as Outstanding Broadway Production.
''Heartstopper'' won for Outstanding Kids and Family Programming. It stars Joe Locke, who recently made his Broadway debut in ''Sweeney Todd.''
''Red, White & Royal Blue'' won for Queer Fan Favorite. The PGA-nominated rom-com starred Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez, and was directed and co-written by Matthew Lopez, Tony winner for ''The Inheritance.'' It was a worldwide hit on Amazon, which just announced there will be a sequel. |
