I actually isn't the record. I count 132 nominations this year.
2023 (last year) had 133 nominees.
And close was 2019, with 129 nominations.
I haven't checked every year of course - although it would probably only be worth checking the most recent years, after the awards split off design categories (play and musical) and then bumped the number of nominees in most categories to five.
