I find the article kind of puzzling. From the examples, she's not "determined," she lies repeatedly to the house staff that she doesn't understand why they don't have her in the system and tries to enter without a ticket enough that she gets banned from theaters. She shows up late and distracts fellow patrons by doing whatever she feels like during the show. And yet a former box office treasurer says, "You have to admire her chutzpah"?

I feel sorry for her, in that she clearly has issues. Only one of her three children will speak to her. But the tone of the article is a little bit too much along the line of, "she's passionate about the theater, so that justifies her awful behavior" than I think would be best.
