According to that Playbill article, they're doing 2 weeks of Urinetown and The Wild Party, but only 1 week of Love Life.
I think Urinetown is done regionally a fair amount, but I've never seen it and am looking forward to seeing it at Encores.
The Ragtime Actors Fund concert was only a year ago (March 27, 2023) and made a huge splash, so I'm a little surprised that Encores is doing it this fall for 2 weeks. I love the show, but I don't feel like I need to see it again so soon, and the Encores cast will be very talented but won't match up to the originals. (I know others will feel differently.) |
