I saw it in previews and kept thinking how I couldn't even believe this thing made it to Broadway. A guy in the row ahead of me kept yawning and actually nodded off a few times. Kind of speaks to just how mediocre to dreadful this season has been for new musicals. Hopefully the season to come will be the opposite!
Like Lempicka and The Notebook, there are definitely talented performers who deserve to be in better shows. |
