But even if the characters are based on Fleetwood Mac ( which I couldn’t tell you since I don’t really know their story), the music, scenes and dialogue are all original. Is it any different than the myriad movies where we’ve seen Elton John or Freddy Mercury brought to life? It’s the quality of the writing and the specificity of the performances that really shine here.
